It gives immense pleasure when you do something for a good cause and make others smile. What can be more rewarding than feeding little children? Villfood is a charitable organisation in Bolpur, India who works with the local community and cook food to serve children and villagers.
And what can be more satisfying than to support them in this noble endeavour! I am proud of Rajarshi who contacted the Villfood team and sponsored a day’s lunch for the kids and the villagers for his birthday on 8th July.
The Menu comprised of Mangsho, Rice and Rosogolla. Rosogolla , the pride of Bengal holds an esteemed place in any Bengali feast and perfect for “misti mukh” on this special day.
It gave us so much happiness when we saw those smiling, innocent faces on TV, eating food on his birthday as we celebrated this special day here. The sight brought tears in our eyes ; tears of true joy, happiness and immense hope. Thousands of miles apart, we felt like witnessing them in front of our eyes.
