Romancing the Hilsa on a rainy afternoon😊😊

Hilsa is much more than gastronomy for a bong. It is about identity , history and nostalgia. It’s about being a bong. Hilsa has been able to take a pride in the hearts of millions of Bengalis throughout the world.

So, my subject for photography on the World Photography Day is our glorious Hilsa, “the king of fishes”.

Come rain, the Bengali palate is decorated with white steamed rice and Hilsa fish.
