Glamorous Santorini

Updated: Jun 22, 2020

When romanticism meets beauty......

Santorini, Greece ; 2019

What can life ask for more? A decent job of your passion and traveling throughout the world to all those places you have once dreamt of😊😊

Glamorous Santorini is deliciously incredible😊😊 Succumbed to Santorini’s charm overlooking the Aagean Sea 🌊

White buildings with colourful roofs , that are typical of the Greek Architecture; the whitewashed, cubiform houses of its 2 principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater)

The Itinerary or the detailed tour plan is given below:

The nearest airport is Thira International Airport, Santorini . Our flight from London took around 3hrs45mins. You can take a local cab at Thira or hire a car from Euro Cars just near the airport and drive to Oia which approximately took us 20-25mins.

These white cubiform structures are necessarily in Oia, the most beautiful and picturesque village of Santorini. You can book hotels through Booking.com. Our white luxurious bungalow or villa as they call it, looked just like from a fairy tale (picture given) with kitchen facilities and bath tub overlooking the Aegean Sea.

Day 1: Head first towards the north of the island; embrace the best of Oia village , Santorini by walking through the picturesque narrow paths beside the sea, unique in every way with iconic blue domed churches , scenic pathways, stunning views and the most spectacular sunset.

Plan for whole day road trips- by car /local bus or local tour operators for the most spectacular places .

Day 2:

1.Lighthouse,Akrotiri

2. Traditional village of Melalochori

3. Red beach

4. Black Beach

5.Perivolous beach

6. Monastery of Profitis IIias

Day 3: Whole Day luxury Caldera cruise trip including full Greek lunch on board. Booking can be done through your hotel.

Travel on a deluxe catamaran with a delicious Greek meal and drinks included, enjoy Santorini’s volcanic landscape by sea.

Relax and enjoy the sea breezes and the beautiful sea as the catamaran sails through the waves of the Aegean Sea.

Pause and enjoy time to swim and snorkel in some of the famous and peaceful beaches or simply enjoy sunbathing on the deck.

Drop anchor at the hot springs near Nea Kameni, Santorini‘s ancient volcano. Step ashore and submerge yourself in the warm pools where the waters are believed to have medicinal powers. However, we couldn’t manage to submerge in water as we were warned the maximum temperature of the water would be only 1 degree, pretty chill for a warm bath 😊

If you book the catamaran sunset trip, you can enjoy and soak up the sight of Santorini’s one of the magical sunset.

A memorable trip of a lifetime in some of the most beautiful beaches of Greece, please follow me for my next post on Zakinthos, the cinematic paradise of Greece.
